About Hello Emma’s Diary… A community built for digital creatives.

Meet Emma, your handy dandy Virtual Assistant for digital creatives!

Hello Emma’s Diary is a blog designed to share the reality of what it means to be a creative business owner in the online space. I’m sure you have first hand experience with how complicated things can get when trying to start your own business, especially a creative one.

Well, consider me your companion on this journey.

If you haven’t caught on yet, I’m Emma! Around these parts I like to call myself a jack-of-all-trades but I guess I can break it down a little further for you.

I’m a Virtual Assistant for digital creatives, but most importantly I am also a creative myself. I started this blog to share my journey in becoming a published author but it quickly turned into something much grander.

I decided, why not offer up my expertise and help you on your creative journey as well?

I struggle bussed this blog into existence and have a background as a process specialist and quality engineer (That basically means that I wrote SOPs, created process flows, and standardized and automated systems for efficiency. I.e., I’m a professional perfectionist).

Now, what does this mean for you? Well, assuming you’re either an author or creative trying to make it in the digital space, you’ve probably run into a headache or two along the way. Does the word “Canva” give you crippling anxiety? No? Okay, what about WordPress? Too niche?

Either way, whether it be the daily hassle of content creation or web design, most creatives don’t intend on 1) Doing their own marketing, 2) Creating their own content, 3) Managing their own website, and 4) Orchestrating their launches and events. Not to mention, the endless stream of people you need to be communicating with at any given time.

You might not have known this before but help is available! Virtual Assistants exist just like Executive Assistants exist in the real world. You’re a BUSINESS OWNER. Say it with me, “I’m a business owner!” Wouldn’t it make sense that the whole ass owner of your business have an assistant to help take some stuff off your plate?

And honestly, isn’t the whole point of owning your own business like, freedom or something? I think some people forget this. You’re allowed to have help. These are low-risk tasks you don’t have to do yourself. They clutter your brain and cause unnecessary stress when you have muchhh bigger fish to fry.
